Extinct species
From PhiloWiki
Assuming only 1% of all species are not extinct (the general consensus, but pick a lower number if you like), did God create and destroy 99% of all species?
[edit]
Species go extinct due to natural evolutionary pressures
Species develop and die out all the time. The Earth has been through at least six significant extinction events, the last of which wiped out the dinosaurs and paved the way for Man.
- Such disregard for economy can be found throughout the natural order. Perhaps 99 percent of the species that have existed have died out. Darwinism has no problem with this, because random variation will inevitably produce both fit and unfit individuals. But what sort of designer would have fashioned creatures so out of sync with their environments that they were doomed to extinction?

99% of the species God created went extinct
I’m sure God had a reason for creating each and every species. It’s His creation and He knows more about it than I do. It doesn’t bother or concern me at all. I’m just happy that God created me with a mind to understand and love Him.
